Multiple Philly Carryovers Monday

Over $50,000 in carryovers will be available to horseplayers when racing returns to Harrah's Philly on Monday afternoon.

After no players hit Friday's (July 19) Jackpot Hi-5, the carryover for that wager has ballooned to $47,222.38. The Jackpot Hi-5 is a 20-cent wager available daily in the fifth race, with the carryover paid out in the event of one unique ticket with the first five finishers correctly selected.

Likewise, the Pick-4 boasts a $3,609.40 carryover after favourites were upended in all four races of Friday's sequence. The Pick-4, which starts in Race 7 daily, carries a 50-cent minimum.

The 14-race card consists of the races originally programmed for Sunday afternoon (July 21) but transferred to Monday as a result of extreme heat blanketing the Philadelphia region over the weekend.

The rescheduled card will see its first race head to the gate at 12:25 p.m. (Eastern).
