Philly Feature To All Champy
On Thursday (July 11) at Harrah’s Philadelphia, All Champy got up late to defeat Rock Of Cashel by a neck in 1:53.3 during the track’s $14,500 featured trot.
Rock Of Cashel (who was driven by David Miller) raced second-over and All Champy (Dexter Dunn) third-over in the tilt. The fractions were cut in :27.3, :56.3 and 1:24.4.
Rock Of Cashel made the stretch lead, but the Explosive Matter gelding All Champy was determined and got the job done for the seventh time this season. He has now banked $118,905 in purses this year. William Wyatt trains the winner for owners Howard and Joshua Kauffman.
The $14,000 trotting co-feature was won by the sophomore Cantab Hall filly Dawn Of Glory in a mark-equalling 1:57. Andy Miller was in the sulky for trainer/wife Julie and the ownership of Red Wall Stables LLC and Andy Miller Stable Inc.
