'Noudidnt' Totally Does At Summerside
On top at every call in the Preferred Pace, Noudidnt Blue Chip wired the field on a rescheduled card Tuesday, July 2 at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
Driver David Dowling sent the Neal Moase owned-and-trained Noudidnt Blue Chip to the front in the $2,750 Preferred and laid fractions of :28.3, :59.4 and 1:28.4 before scoring by a length in 1:57.4. Adkins Hanover was second with Jeb third.
Dowling had three wins on the card as he continued his driving dominance at the Prince County Oval, also winning with Twice As Bright in 1:58.1 for trainer Elton Millar and Bugtown Superstar in 2:01.4 for Brian Walsh.
Rising Fella hit the wire first in the $1,700 Canada Day Pace with a 1:58.3 mile for driver Jason Hughes, co-owner and trainer Jansen Sweet and co-owners Allison Sweet, Susan Thomson and Brody Ellis.
Ultimate Flyingnun gave rookie-driver Kyle Mason the thrill of a lifetime as the mare rallied from off the pace to upset in Race 10 and give the New Brunswick native his first victory. The $2,000 event had Mason and the Sifroi Melanson-trained Ultimate Flyingnun get up in the finals strides to win in 1:58.3 for owner Ultimate Stable.
