Classicality Powerful In Meadows Trot
Despite fronting the first quarter in a contested :26.3, Classicality retook past the quarter and won comfortably in Monday’s (June 24) $20,000 Open 1 Handicap Trot at The Meadows.
Brian Zendt handled Classicality confidently, and the nine-year-old Classic Photo-Penn Worthy Lane gelding rewarded him by scoring powerfully in 1:53.3, two lengths better than Dayson, who rallied from last to grab second. Barn Girl finished third.

Classicality gave Brian Zendt one of three winning drives on Monday at The Meadows.
Lisa Dunn owns and trains Classicality, who won his second straight and now boasts $674,627 in career earnings. It was one of three wins for Zendt on the 13-race card.
Live racing at The Meadows continues Tuesday (June 25), when the card features a carryover of $1,815.24 in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 1:05 p.m.
