Lear Jetta Heads to Nandi Farm

It was announced earlier today Lear Jetta, a World Champion son of Lindy Lane from the prolific Speed Bowl mare Missy Hadagal, will stand at stud in 2010 at Dr. Hurtgen’s Nandi Farm in New Freedom, PA

for a service fee of $4,000.

Lear Jetta won 11 of 13 starts as a two-year-old with a World Record mark of 1:55.3 and $370,513 in earnings. His major wins included the PA Sires Stakes Championship, Keystone Classic, Reynolds, elimination and finals of the Matron Stakes and an elimination of the Breeders Crown.

As a three-year-old, Lear Jetta was undefeated in five starts before being sidelined by an injury. He won the Currier and Ives, Reynolds and three legs of the PA Sires Stakes and ended his racing career with 18 starts (16-1-1) and a mark of 1:54.1 with earnings of $469,410.
