Horse Racing Alberta has announced that, effective November 15, 2009, the 45-day qualifying rule will be waived for November racing at Northlands Park

.

The following will apply:

• Racehorses that have been racing in Alberta in September do not need to qualify if they race at Northlands Park before the end of November. Fit horses that have not raced before must qualify. Qualifying races will be held at Northlands commencing November 18, 2009.

Horses which race at Northlands without qualifying and are deemed non-competitive will be listed and the trainer may be subject to a fine.
