NYSS To Buffalo Wednesday

A pair of $58,000 New York Sire Stakes races for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings will take centre stage at Buffalo Raceway on Wednesday night (June 12).

Post time for the 13-race card will be at 5 p.m.

One White Knight (Crazed-Psychotherapist) has been installed as the 2-1 morning line favourite for the first NYSS dash. He’s set to start from Post 2 for Jim Morrill Jr. One White Knight has raced to three consecutive second-place finishes, including one on June 3 in the NYSS at Monticello Raceway. He is trained by Edwin Gannon Jr.

Livinonthedash (Muscle Mass-Sunshine Glide) drew the six post and will get the services of Tyler Buter. After having not raced at two, Livinonthedash has recorded four victories from seven starts this year and is the 3-1 second early choice. The remainder of the first division includes Horns For Three (to be driven by Kevin Cummings), Powerscourt (Michael McGivern), Lights Come On (Billy Davis Jr.) and Chip Chip Conway (Jimmy Taggart Jr.).

All eyes will be on the 8-5 early favourite Mr Vicktor in the second division (Race 5). He has drawn the rail and will have Buter in the bike. The front-stepping Mr Vicktor (RC Royalty-Hawaiian Vicky) has recorded four wins from five tries this season, including two victories on the NYSS circuit. His last start was a wire-to-wire job in 1:57.1 at Monticello. The Jennifer Lappe trainee has already amassed $113,632 in earnings this year.
