Some Attitude Upsets Saratoga Open
Going at odds of 12-1, Some Attitude advanced to a 1:52.3 victory in the $15,000 Open Pace on Saturday, June 8 at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
The Jackie Greene-trained son of Somebeachsomewhere lead every step of the mile. He faced a late bid from pocket-popping In A Single Bound through the stretch to win while longshot Kiwi Tintin N took third.
Some Attitude paid $27.40 to win win and led an exacta and triple that returned $133 and $418, respectively. Overall, it was the third win in twelve tries this year for Some Attitude, who is owned by the Kellogg Racing Stables.
Live racing continues on Sunday afternoon, June 9 at Saratoga with a matinee starting at 12 p.m. New York Sire Stakes will take center stage as three-year-old trotting fillies are featured.
