Clinton's Strong 2019 Continues

With two weeks under wraps at Clinton Raceway, the 2019 season is looking to be a promising one. After a stellar opening last weekend, the momentum carried over to the 10-race card Sunday, May 26 and a live race handle just over $24,000.

The Huron Heat Senior Ladies were track side for a Day at the Races Fundraiser for their upcoming season. The group raised just shy of $1,500 with a 50/50, BBQ, bake sale and silent auction.

The Super Sunday show was sponsored by Groves TV & Appliance and two lucky winners took home $200 gift certificates.

Clinton takes a break from live racing next weekend with the return of the annual Clinton Spring Fair. Saturday night the track will play host to the first Southwest Great Lakes Music Festival featuring headliners David Wilcox and Eric Ethridge. Tickets are still available on Eventbrite.

On Sunday, June 9, the Blyth Brussels and Seaforth Stars minor hockey will be hosting a co-fundraiser.
