Northfield Park has announced the addition of a total-pool guarantee for the Pick-3 on its Tuesday (April 30) program.

Beginning in Race 5, the $10,000 Pick-3 guaranteed total pool will include a carryover of $2,826.

The wager is being offered as part of the Strategic Wagering Program through the United States Trotting Association.

The evening’s ninth race will begin the 20-cent Northfield Single Six, which boasts a $9,661 carryover.

Northfield’s Pick-3s, Pick-4s, Pick-5, 20-cent Super High Five and 20-cent Northfield Single Six offer a reduced takeout rate of just 14 per cent.

Tuesday’s post time will be at 6 p.m.
