Officials with Miami Valley Raceway have announced that the track has been forced to cancel its program of live racing scheduled for today (Sunday, Jan. 20).

Miami had also cancelled its Saturday evening program due to winter conditions.

The reason for the Sunday cancellation was due to treacherous road conditions (level 2 and 3 road advisories in many area counties), ice and drifting snow on the track, and sub-zero wind chill factors.

The track is hoping that its Monday and Tuesday matinees will be raced as programmed.
