Dance Step made it four-in-a-row on Saturday night at Marquis Downs with his off-the-pace score in the $2,000 Open Pace

With Philip Giesbrecht at the controls, favourite Dance Step, a son of Real Desire-Lite On Her Feet, advanced first-over through stations of :28, 1:01.4 and 1:30.4 and pulled ahead of pacesetter Barona Fivehundred (Kevin Sampson) in the stretch to win in 1:59.2 by a half-length. Truckin Jones (Darryl Mason) finished third off a pocket trip.

Greg Manning trains the four-year-old gelding, who notched his seventh win in 25 seasonal starts. The winner of 15 races lifetime and $55,716 in earnings is owned by Donald Ransom of Boissevain, Keith Earle, Bill Lowri and Bob Stremich of Winnipeg, MB.
