Officials with Pompano Park have announced that the track will be offering a guaranteed pool on one of its exotic wagers this evening (Wednesday, Nov. 21).

A Pick 5 sequence that included no winning favourites on Tuesday night (Nov. 20) at Pompano resulted in no winning tickets.

The result is a $4,592 carryover into the Wednesday (Nov. 21) card. Track officials, in conjunction with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program, have added an ‘instant guarantee’ of $20,000 for the total pool on Wednesday.

The Pick 5 is a fifty-cent based wager that begins on the first race of every card.

Live racing at Pompano will continue five nights per week, with a first post of 7:20 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
