Jk Panache dipped from the Open into the $15,000 Winners-Over Feature at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Saturday, Nov. 10 and posted a 1:53.3 half-length victory.

The Dave Dewhurst trainee was assigned the outermost post in the field of six and still went as the 1-5 favourite. Driver Shawn Gray placed the nine-year-old veteran on the lead and posted fractions of :26.3 and :55.4 before opening a wider margin on his competition.

Leading by four lengths moving to the top of the stretch, Jk Panache cruised home as Itsonlyrocknroll A cut the deficit to snag second while longshot Ginger Tree Cash took third.

With the win, JK Panache moved his career earnings to over the $600,000 mark for Dave Dewhurst who co-owns the star pacer with Philip Hale.
