Stay Hungry To Stud In 2019
It has been announced that a deal has been reached which will see Cane Pace and Messenger Stakes winner Stay Hungry p,3,1:47.3 ($1,358,086) stand at stud for the 2019 breeding season.
Hanover Shoe Farms, along with Brad Grant and Wendy Samelman, are pleased to announce that 2017 Two-Year-Old Pacing Colt of the Year, Stay Hungry, will join its stallion roster in 2019.
A son of supersire Somebeachsomewhere and out of the $2-million-winning mare My Little Dragon, Stay Hungry won the Breeders Crown as a two-year-old in his award-winning freshman campaign.
This year at three, Stay Hungry won the first two legs of harness racing’s Pacing Triple Crown while taking a record of 1:47.3 and amassing over $1.3 million in career earnings.
His trainer, Tony Alagna – who also conditioned supersire Captaintreacherous and promising stallion Artspeak – has referred to Stay Hungry as the most correct yearling he ever purchased.
Stay Hungry will stand in Pennsylvania for an introductory stud fee of $6,000. Shares are available in this promising stallion.

So the two best 3 year olds
So the two best 3 year olds which we KNOW will be back in 2019, since they're gelded, are Dorsoduro Hanover and Always A Prince. The two best 3 year olds which we HOPE will be coming back, since no announcement has been made, are Courtly Choice and Lather Up.
