The annual Island Mixed Sale will be taking place in Crapaud at the Equine Event Centre on Saturday, October 17, beginning at noon

.

The sale will feature yearlings, broodmares, stallion fees, and young horses of racing age.

The entry deadline for yearlings and broodmares is Friday, October 2. Racing stock may be entered up to sale time and will sell off their race lines to the date of sale.

Several in-foal broodmares have already been entered, including a Precious Bunny three-quarter sister to Camluck; an Artsplace from a full sister to No Nukes; a full sister to local top-class horse Rymar Chief and to Maritime Champion Acton Amigo; and a half sister to $572,000 winner Tyler A. There is also a Camluck yearling full sister to PL Betterway (p,3,1:54).

The entry fee is $50 and may be mailed to Island Standardbred Sales, Box 571, Charlottetown, PEI, C1A 7L1 or called in to Norman Hall at 902-368-2340 for credit payment.

Entry forms are available at all Maritime tracks.
