Dream Together Delivers In Preferred
Bob McClure worked out a dreamy trip for Dream Together in Tuesday’s $34,000 Preferred Trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park, and the talented mare didn’t let it go to waste.
After mixing it up with a parked out Dancer Hall to the quarter pole in :27.3, Dream Together released that foe to the front and tracked him to the half in :56.3. B Yoyo made an explosive rush from last to first in the third quarter, and he showed a short lead while racing parked past the three-quarter pole in 1:26.2.
Dancer Hall battled back and put away B Yoyo, but he made a late break after being headed by a number of foes. Dream Together angled out three-wide in the late going and used a :27.3 closing panel to post the one-length decision over stablemate On A Sunny Day in 1:54.2. Musical Rhythm in his first start off the shelf was a solid third.
Dream Together, a four-year-old daughter of Muscle Hill-Danae is trained by Luc Blais for owner Determination of Montreal, QC. The mare, who went 0-for-3 last season now owns a stellar record of 8-2-2 from 14 trips to the track this season. The $17,000 payday boosted her lifetime earnings to $755,794
