Foiled Again On Track On Jugette Day

Fans at the Delaware County Fair will get a couple of unique opportunities to see, and possibly sit behind, Foiled Again, the richest Standardbred of all-time, as a part of the gelding’s farewell tour.

With more than $7.5 million in career earnings and 103 career wins, the 14-year-old Foiled Again is currently in his final season of racing.

Fans can meet and greet the champion on Wednesday (10:00 – 11:30 a.m.) and Thursday (10:00 – 12:00 p.m.) in the Little Brown Jug Barn.

On Wednesday afternoon, conditioner Ron Burke will train Foiled Again during the Jugette Day card in preparation for his next start (September 21 at Batavia Downs).

Foiled Again and one lucky bidder will lead the post parade for the first heat of the Little Brown Jug on Thursday. Bidding will be conducted during the Pre-Jug Party charity auction Wednesday evening. Patrons not in attendance can bid by clicking here.

Foiled Again is owned by Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi (Mark Weaver and Mike Bruscemi) and JJK Stables (Joe and Kevin Koury).
