Mare Beats Boys In Meadows Preferred
World Champion Hidden Viggorish took on the boys again and humbled them again, as she captured the $27,500 Preferred Handicap Trot Thursday, September 10 at the Meadows.
Leaving from Post 8, driver Brian Zendt allowed Hidden Viggorish to settle in sixth before moving off the pylons first time by the stands. The six-year-old daughter of SJs Caviar--Tia Maria effortlessly sustained an uncovered bid that wore down the leader, Master Begonia.
Hidden Viggorish defeated Master Begonia by one and a quarter lengths in 1:54.2. Primo Spur was third.
Bill Zendt trains and Harmony Spring Stable owns Hidden Viggorish.
