Officials at Kawartha Downs have told Trot Insider that the Ontario Sires Stakes Gold eliminations for three-year-old pacing fillies, scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, will not be taking place due to a small number of

entries.

The connections of five fillies entered their charges to contest the event; therefore all fillies will go directly to the Tuesday, September 22 final. The final will carry a purse of $170,000.

The post draw for the final will be taking place Tuesday, September 15 prior to the night's card of live racing. If any trainer does not want to participate in the final, they must contact the Kawartha Downs race office prior to the draw.

The starting fees -- $750 (Canadian) or $708 (U.S.) -- must be paid on or before Tuesday, September 22.
