Ten days removed from a sixth-place finish in his Maple Leaf Trot elimination, Carl Jamieson and George Harrison's Dunbar Hall ($7.40) landed back in the win column with a 1:52.2 effort in Tuesday's (Sept. 4) featured $34,000 Preferred Trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

After settling in third behind 7-5 favourite Lindy The Great (Doug McNair) through a :28 first quarter, Jody Jamieson brushed Dunbar Hall to the fore up the backstretch, clearing Lindy The Great just beyond a :56.1 half while B Yoyo (Louis-Philippe Roy) stalked closely on approach to the sweeping far turn. Dunbar Hall edged away from the field off the home turn, and was chased after through the final sixteenth to maintain 1-1/2 lengths of clearance at the winning post. B Yoyo angled off the pegs in upper stretch and just collared Lindy The Great for runner-up honours.

Stephanie Jamieson trains the four-year-old Deweycheatumnhowe gelding, who earned the 11th win of his career and increased his lifetime earnings to $274,714. The featured win with Dunbar Hall capped a driving grand slam for Jody Jamieson.

Trainer Richard Moreau recorded a hat trick on the night's 11-race card, sending Exemplar ($5.80, 1:53.1), A Boy Named Suuzz ($5.00, 1:52.1) and Singhampton Kenny ($9.20, 1:52.4) to victory. Louis-Philippe Roy handled the driving duties on all three victorious Moreau trainees.
