Go To The Jug With Georgian Downs

Once again this year Georgian Downs will be packing up a tour bus with 56 lucky race patrons and heading down to Delaware, Ohio for the renowned Little Brown Jug
. The four day trip will commence on September 22 leaving from the Georgian Downs racetrack.
The Little Brown Jug has created its own chapter in the standardbred racing history books. The premier three-year-old pacing classic was so named by the winner of a newspaper contest in 1944. Since then it has turned out some of the fastest pacing times on record and exhibited many of the sport’s most celebrated names such as Tar Heel, Bret Hanover, Niatross and Million Dollar Cam as they received the traditional wreath of roses in the Delaware winner’s circle. Add to this impressive line up last year’s Jug winner, Canada’s own Shadow Play of Charlottetown, P.E.I. Canadian horses have now brought home top prize in this event three years running, starting with 2006 winner Mr Feelgood.
Sports Illustrated once declared that “the biggest cocktail party in the state of Ohio is at the Delaware County Fairgrounds on Jug day.” The First Turn Hospitality Pavilion on-site truly offers guests the VIP experience. All members of the Georgian Downs Jug Trip will have full access to this exclusive area featuring a complimentary full-service bar, all-day gourmet buffet, wagering and the best view of the races that the track has to offer.

- Luxury coach transportation from Ontario to Delaware, Ohio and back
- Three nights (September 22, 23, and 24) Premiere Suite accommodations at The Sheraton Columbus, Ohio (double occupancy)
- Transportation to and from the Delaware County track for Jugette on Wednesday and The Jug on Thursday
