The last chance to replace two horses in the Little Brown Jug Fantasy Stable begins Tuesday, September 8 and continues through Friday, September 11

One trainer and one driver may also be replaced.

The second and final draft period follows Monday afternoon’s Cane Pace at Freehold Raceway in New Jersey. Two of the 'Cane’s 13 starters, Arctic Warrior and Hail Storm, are not eligible to the Little Brown Jug, but if either wins the Cane it can be supplemented into the Jug.

Participants may select either or both of these colts in the final draft. Arctic Warrior finished second and Hail Storm was third to Cane elimination winner If I Can Dream.

The Simcoe Stakes on September 12 at Mohawk Racetrack is the only race remaining on the fantasy schedule prior to the Little Brown Jug.

There are co-leaders in the Jug Fantasy Contest going into Monday’s Cane Pace. Tied with 2,103 points are Chris Revington ('Shotgun Wedding') of London, Ont. and Ruth Ellerman ('Ruth52') of St. Louis, Missouri.

Next is Julia Martin ('Eatmydust') of Corryton, Tennessee with 2,081; Mark Trzaska ('Teacher') of Amherst, New York with 2,070; Nick Salvi ('Nick') with 2,061; and Mary Portman ('MVP') of Westfield, New York with 2,041.
