McDonald’s Troops Triple Up At Rideau

ario.
McDonald and driver Ted McDonald teamed up to win the curtain lifter with Coreys Apache in 1:55.3. Stephane Gendron and McDonald then clicked with Coast Highway, who rallied for a 1:55 triumph, in the seventh race.
John MacDonald’s driving services were used in the eighth race to score with the Gary McDonald-trained Glencove Royal, who shrugged off a parked out trip to win his assignment in 1:58.
The three-win performance for trainer McDonald bumped his 2009 win total to 29, while his lifetime number climbed to 410. He has sent out winners of purses in excess of $2.3 million to date.
