Big Debut In Road To Hambo Rankings
Six Pack and Wolfgang still sit atop the weekly ‘Road to the Hambletonian’ rankings, but a charge with a full head of steam has now debuted in the top three.
The Ake Svandstedt-trained and driven Six Pack took over the No. 1 spot in the rankings last week, courtesy of his 1:50 world record performance in his $181,000 Stanley Dancer division at the Meadowlands Racetrack on July 14.
After having dominated the Road to the Hambletonian rankings earlier in the season, the Jimmy Takter-trained and Yannick Gingras-driven Wolfgang is now second for the second consecutive week. Like Six Pack, Wolfgang also captured his Dancer division (in 1:51.2, by almost three lengths).
The Rick Zeron-trained and Scott Zeron-driven filly Atlanta has debuted at third on the list, after Rick announced this past weekend that his lass will be taking on the boys in the Hambletonian.
