Pompano Park has announced a change to the post times for its upcoming card of live racing on Saturday

, September 5.

Post-time for Saturday’s kick-off of the FSBOA stakes season at Pompano Park has been changed to 10:00 a.m.

The Sunshine State Stakes will highlight the Saturday card with events scheduled for two and three-year-olds.

Declarations for the eight separate classes are due no later than 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2.

There will also be a matinee on Saturday, September 12 with post time, once again, set for 10:00 a.m.

Declarations for those eight events are due in the race office no later than 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9.

Pari-mutuel racing returns to the South Florida five-eighths mile oval on Saturday, September 19 with a new post time of 7:05 p.m.

Meanwhile, with the '30-day rule' in place, the first qualifying events at Pompano will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4.

Declarations for qualifiers must be made by 9:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3.
