Mohawk Qualifiers Aflush With Babies
A sizeable two-year-old qualifying session was the talk of Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday morning (June 25). A robust 14 dashes faced the starter during the session after inclement weather had caused the cancellation of baby races late last week.
The fastest of the morning miles was recorded in Race 2 by the Victor Puddy-trained and Trevor Henry-driven The Regulator (Bettors Delight–Exotic Pleasure). The brown colt showed multiple moves in the mile and came on again late to nail the wire in a sharp 1:53.3.

The victorious move was a first-up advance to the lead in the second quarter. Quatrain Blue Chip (Somebeachsomewhere–Frontierpan) was plucked out of the Harrisburg sale.
Another six-figure yearling buy, Stag Party (Bettors Delight–My Lady Day), posted a victory during the session.
