Glidemyway and Brian Allen posted the fastest mile for two-year-old trotting fillies in New York Late Closers at Tioga Downs on Saturday night

Brian Allen sent the two-year-old daughter of Conway Hall-Four Starz Glide to the front through fractions of :29.3, 1:00.4 and 1:31.2 before posting a new lifetime mark of 2:01.3 over a track listed as good. Video (Fern Paquet Jr.) got up for second, while Majestics Joy (Kyle Di Benedetto)

Brian Allen also trains Glidemyway for William Ballard and Gene White of New York. It was the second win in five seasonal starts for Glidemyway who with the victory increased her seasonal earnings to more than $20,000.

Other division winners included Front End Rate in 2:05.3 (Corey Braden), Sweet Licks in 2:06.1 (Maynard Cornell) and Over The Limit in 2:02.3 (Jim Taggart Jr.).

Corey Braden and Bruce Clarke each posted driving doubles on the night’s 10-race card.
