‘Trotting 4 Charity’ Passes $10K Mark
Officials with the ongoing ‘Trotting 4 Charity’ initiative have provided an update on the progress of the undertaking, which is paying dividends for those in need.
The first round of auctions are now completed and in the books. Forty-seven Trotting 4 Charity jerseys were auctioned off over a three-week span, which resulted in $10,630 in donations.
The auctions are not done yet!
The last two ‘jerseys’ that are currently available are Doug McNair and Scott Zeron’s, both of whom will be sporting their threads this coming weekend at Woodbine Mohawk Park during the track’s Pepsi North America Cup card. The auctions for the McNair and Zeron jerseys will end this coming Monday at 9:00 p.m. (EST), so make sure to get your bids in by clicking here.
Trotting 4 Charity officials are not done, though, as they have been taking more orders for more jerseys to be auctioned. Horsemen from around the world will start Trotting 4 Charity. There is no restriction for tracks, dates, races, trainers, drivers or owners – anyone can purchase a jersey to donate and auction off.
If you don't have an official colour design, Trotting 4 Charity will figure one out, as the spirit of the initiative is to create, improvise, and donate
A full list of results for each jersey and upcoming auctions, media, etc are all available at trotting4charity.com.
