Commentator Throws Down The Gauntlet
Horse racing commentators at the track provide analysis, interview connections, and inform the public as to how a program of racing is unfolding. One commentator is now forcing the rest of her global colleagues to step up their games.

As an article by the BBC explains, on-air racing personality Hayley Moore recently took matters into her own hands when a runner got loose and began doing laps at Chepstow Racecourse in the United Kingdom.
The loose horse in question, Give Em A Clump, was having quite a time gallivanting around the course after having dumped its rider. ‘Clump,’ who had been loose for almost four miles, appeared to have gotten the chutzpah out of its system – but one thing is for certain: Moore had clearly seen enough.
Hayley – the daughter of trainer Gary Moore and sister of accomplished jockey Ryan Moore – found herself right in the path of the tiring runner. As Clump attempted to make its way by Hayley, the ex-rider leaped, grabbed one of the horse’s reins, and held on. She was dragged a few metres before Clump realized the jig was up.
"It had already done a couple of laps of the racecourse, which is quite a long way at Chepstow," Hayley was quoted as saying.
"Horses will get eventually exhausted. He was just running on his adrenaline and already had done a lot of exercise and it was very warm day – so I just thought I'd go for it."
Hayley went on to say that, "It was the quickest moving horse that I've tried to catch, hence me falling over when I did it,” adding, "I'm pretty strong, pretty sturdy..... but it was probably a bit stupid to be honest with you."
She conveyed that her boss “thought it was remarkable” and said that “it should be a new way of testing screen presenters."
