This Friday is your first of three chances at Georgian Downs to qualify for this year’s exciting Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship, which will be held at a new location for 2009

: Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Standardbred Canada will be taking the nation’s best to the nation’s capital to see who will win the $25,000 (estimated) grand prize.

In order to be eligible for the final, participants must first win a local racetrack qualifier like the upcoming one at Georgian. Once participants win a qualifier, they will be treated like a star, winning free accommodations while at the championship as well as meals and transportation to and from Rideau.
