For years, professional wrestling legend 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair has been at the helm or affiliated with a stable of individuals known as The Four Horsemen. On Sunday -- Flair's 69th birthday -- he officially became a horseman as part of a different stable in the harness racing industry.

During Sunday's Dan Patch Awards at the Rosen Shingle Creek resort in Orlando, Florida, Flair was the special guest of the group accepting the award for two-year-old pacing colt Lost In Time. Co-owner Scott Robinson informed those in attendance that it was in fact Flair's birthday and that he had a special gift in store.

"Who would we be as a horse racing community if we didn’t get Ric Flair a birthday gift?" Robinson rhetorically asked the audience. "He’s got the best car, the best watch, the best clothes, the best of everything, but there’s one thing you don’t have Ric Flair. You don’t have the best horse. I do!

"But guess what? Ric Flair, my gift to you, you now own a piece of Lost in Time."

An appreciative Flair can be heard saying, "I'm holding you to that!"

After the event, Flair posted a note to his 3.6 million social media followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter confirming the news with "Yes, I Am A Horseman! WOOOOO!"

Robinson told Trot Insider that the plan is to have Flair licensed as a harness horse owner and have him listed on the ownership of Lost In Time when the pacer returns to the racetrack in 2018.
