Malcolm Appointed In New England

Robert McHugh, the president of Harness Horseman's Association of New England, Inc., has announced that Carol Malcolm has been selected as HHANE's new executive director. Malcolm will begin in the newly created position effective
April 1.

Malcolm, a New England native, previously served as the chief pari-mutuel officer for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. She is an ROAP-accredited level one harness racing judge, a USTA-licensed associate judge, and has served in various management and officiating positions on the east coast of the United States, as well as in Illinois and Minnesota.

In announcing Malcolm’s selection, McHugh said, "Carol's level of expertise and knowledge of our industry makes her the ideal first executive director of our growing organization. As a board, we look forward to working with her and know she will be a valuable asset to our members."
