Yonkers Raceway has issued a reminder that its entry box for both the 2009 Yonkers Trot and Hudson Filly Trot will close Tuesday, August 18

, at 4:00 p.m. (ET).

Elimination races--if necessary--for both events are scheduled for Saturday, August 22. The finals are scheduled for Saturday, August 29.

Estimated purses are $510,000 for the Yonkers Trot and $280,000 for the Hudson Filly Trot. The night of the finals will also feature a T-shirt giveaway while supplies last.
