Leagues, NCAA Appeal In Delaware

It took only two days for the four major sports leagues and NCAA to appeal a federal judge’s refusal of their request for a preliminary injunction that would halt the opening of sports betting in Delaware.

The judge, Gregory Sleet, set a December 7 hearing date.

Unless the league’s appeal is successful, sports betting, including single-game betting and prop betting on them, will begin with the opening of the NFL regular season next month.
