Indian Fever Passes
Webb Stables of Defiance, Ohio, has reported that the Ohio pacing stallion Indian Fever p,3,1:52.1f ($432,206) passed away this past Friday (January 26) of natural causes at the age of 23.
The son of Nobleland Sam-Hey Lady was an Ohio Triple Crown winner in 1997, as he won the State Fair Stake, the Ohio Breeders Championship and the Ohio Sire Stakes final.
His fastest and top-earning foal was the mare Mighty Passion, who took a mark of 1:51.3 and earned $123,457 in purses.
He was bred by the former Palpac Stables of Ottawa, Ohio.
