Yonkers Raceway’s Friday evening (January 12) Pick 5 wager will start with a double carryover of $15,113.25 as well as a $40,000 guaranteed pool.

The ‘instant’ guarantee is in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.

The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager that comprises Races 7 through 11 during every racing card. It has no consolation payoff, meaning if no one selects all five winners (as was the case Monday and Tuesday nights), the entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next racing program.

A reminder that first post for all evening programs is now 6:50 p.m.
