A World Record attempt for the fastest mile on a 1/2 mile grass track is scheduled at Tregaron - the UK's biggest 3 Day Harness Racing Festival which runs from August 27-29

. The public is currently voting on which of the six top pacers will participate in the record attempt dubbed the 'Electric Mile'.

The 3 day meeting, which is the jewel in the crown of UK Harness Racing, will see hundreds of horses and thousands of people make their annual pilgrimage to the small village in West Wales. The event will be televised live in the UK.
