Three In A Row For Ladys Dude
Ladys Dude stretched his winning streak to three Wednesday (November 8) at The Meadows with a front-end victory in the $18,000 Preferred Handicap Trot.
Ladys Dude zipped to the front from post six and easily repelled the first-over bid of his stablemate Call For Justice. The pocket-sitting Classicality posed a more serious threat in the Lightning Lane, but Ladys Dude responded to the urging of Tony Hall and downed Classicality by half a length in 1:54.3. Trustworthy Kid rallied for show.
Ron Burke trains Ladys Dude, a six-year-old Victory Sam-Ladys Star gelding who won for the 12th time this year and boosted his lifetime bankroll to $621,998, for the Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, LLC, and Johnny Yoder.
Mike Wilder collected four wins on the 12-race card, while Dave Palone and Burke each fashioned a three-bagger.
