Dover Draws Matrons Monday
Monday is draw day for the lucrative Matron Stakes for two-year-old trotting and pacing fillies and colts.
The Dover Downs entry box is open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. sharp. To supplement to a Matron freshman division, a Declaration Fee of $20,000 is due and payable at time of Declaration.
The Matron Stakes are the oldest continual stakes program in harness racing and now are raced at Dover Downs. This year, all two-year-old events for colt and filly trotters and pacers are set for Thursday, Nov. 9. The three-year-old Matron divisions will be held on the following Thursday, Nov. 16.
