An eight-race slate of qualifying races went postward Friday morning at Mohawk Racetrack which featured five fields of two-year-olds

Freshman Sir Luck colt FBS Luck captured the first of the qualifying dashes for driver Rick Zeron and trainer Mario Macri. The colt came from mid-pack and went on to post a three-quarters of one-length victory in 2:00.2
Juvenile Ken Warkentin colt Cover Of Night dominated Race 2 for conditioner John Kopas and driver Sylvain Filion, as the bay powered off to a 13-length win in 2:01.1.
Two-year-old Allamerican Native lass Siri Hanover proved the best in Race 3 for driver Randy Waples and trainer Mark Austin, as the bay recorded a two-length winning margin in the 1:57 mile.
Trainer Joe Hudon, Jr. and driver Karen Hudon clicked with a two-year-old in Race 4, as Ipromisenottotell, a daughter of Angus Hall, made its career charted debut a winning one, tripping the timer over three lengths the best in 1:59.3.
MG Home Run knocked one out of the park for trainer Casie Coleman and driver Mike Saftic in Race 5, as the Astreos colt utilized a :27.2 final quarter mile to produce a two and a quarter-length victory in 1:56.4.
Three-year-old Striking Sahbra filly Striking Fashion took Race 6 by a neck for driver Mark MacDonald and trainer Rene Laarman, stopping the clock in 1:59.3.
Real Desire colt Nittany Linebacker reigned supreme in Race 7, as the bay hustled to a one-length victory in 1:53.2 for driver Mark MacDonald and trainer Darren McCall.
The final qualifying race of the morning (Race 8) went to eight-year-old Balanced Image gelding Harlequin, which won by 11 lengths in 1:56.2 for driver Rick Zeron and trainer Geoff Maltby.
