Breeders Crown Charity Art Auction Live
Hoosier Park Racing & Casino, in celebration of the 34th edition of the Breeders Crown, is sponsoring a charitable art show and silent auction in conjunction with Anderson (Ind.) Community Schools.
The auction supports the Harness Horse Youth Foundation, New Vocations Racehorse Adoption and the Standardbred Retirement Fund. The Madison County Animal Protection League will also benefit.
Art of all types, executed by students and faculty of Anderson Schools, is featured in the online auction at this link. The art exhibit and silent auction is open to the public, and will feature original works from local students in the Madison County community. Much of the art, which may include paintings, sculptures, glasswork, woodwork, and more, will also be showcased at Hoosier Park during the week leading up to the Breeders Crown.
“We are extremely proud to announce our ART-Rageous Culture For A Cause auction as part of the 2017 Breeders Crown events at Hoosier Park,” said Emily Gaskin, Hoosier Park’s Race Marketing Manager. The charity organisations, along with our local, very talented, art students, deserve our support and acknowledgment and we are hopeful that the racing fans will join us in our efforts to support them with the ART-rageous event.”
