Rash B Havior Dominates At Summerside
Rail control coupled with an aggressive drive was a recipe for success for Rash B Havior in the Monday afternoon (September 4) feature at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
Rash B Havior left from post one in the $2,100 featured event on the special Labour Day Monday card at Red Shores Summerside. Marc Campbell sent the son of Lis Mara to the front for every call as he laid down fractions of :28.1, :58.4 and 1:28 while never seeing a challenge. The mile was closed out in 1:56.1 for Rash B Havior with Zero Rate (Adam Merner) finishing second and Ultimatelyhandsome (Corey MacPherson) third. The 1-4-5 triactor paid $157.70.
It was one of four wins on the afternoon card for Campbell, as the Winsloe reinsman continues his lead in the Prince County driving standings with 42 victories on the season. Campbell's other wins came with Bet Er All in 1:59.1 for trainer Ralph Sweet and his own trainees Keepcalmdanceon (2:00.2) and Woodmere Angela (2:04.4).
Walter Cheverie solidified his spot in third place in the Summerside standings with three wins on the afternoon to give him 21 on the season. Cheverie visited the winner's circle with his own Bowyer Hanover in 2:00.4, George in 2:02.1 for trainer George Riley, and Bignprecious in 2:00 for trainer Garth Cole.
MacPherson had a driving double, winning with Midnight Play in 1:58.2 for trainer Trevor Hicken, and Patrick Q in 2:02 for owner Darla MacEachern.
Norris Rogers had two victories in the bike Monday, winning with Instant Shadow for trainer Sifroi Melanson in 2:00.2 and with Frank Banks' Bob Vivant Hanover with a 2:00.1 victory.
