Dreas Good Powow captured Thursday’s $7,500 Fillies and Mares Pace at Vernon Downs on a night that belonged to driver John MacDonald.

MacDonald guided Dreas Good Powow to the 1:52.1 victory in what turned out to be part of his Thursday evening six-pack over the New York oval.

He went on to add wins with Strike A Chord ($5.00), Paltrow Blue Chip ($5.40), Good Luck Ginny ($3.00), Miss Ruby ($3.00) and Always Flash N ($2.80).

The six-win performance gives MacDonald 142 wins on the year and more than 3,500 in his career.
