On Thursday (June 1) the Assembly Tourism, Gaming and the Arts Committee in New Jersey heard an informal presentation to discuss the merits of historic racing.

Historic Racing is currently offered in Kentucky, Arkansas, Wyoming and Oregon where it has enjoyed success. Many look at Historic Racing as an opportunity to help the New Jersey racing and breeding program to compete with neighboring jurisdictions and their racino driven programs.
