This Friday night, the Meadowlands Racetrack will offer mixed-breed racing, as camels and ostriches will join the Standardbreds to compete over the one-mile oval.

The Standardbreds are well represented by a solid field of six trotters in the fourth race, a conditioned trot for a purse of $15,000.

Leading the way will be fan favourite Market Share, who with over $3.7 million in earnings is currently the second leading career money-winning trotter of all time in North America, and will be driven for the very first time in 93 starts by the greatest money winning driver of all time, John Campbell.

Market Share was a 1:52.4 winner his last time out and will start from the outside Post 6 for trainer Linda Toscano and owners Richard Gutnick, TLP Stables and Bill Augustine.

There are ten races on the Friday card. The ostriches are set to race between Race 3 and Race 4, and the camels later, after Race 8.

Delicious BBQ is on the menu this week in Pink, so come early and hit the buffet while you enjoy the racing.

Post time for the first race is 7:15 p.m.
