Jennys Jammies Heads Yankee Bambino Final

Jennys Jammies will try to win her fourth straight race and capture the final of the Yankee Bambino series at Rockingham Park when she headlines the field of 10 talented trotters on Sunday

.

Jennys Jammies, a four-year-old daughter of Master Lavec driven by DT Sumner, has been made the 5-2 early favourite for the $12,000 trot to be raced as the seventh event on the 10-race card. After winning both of her first two legs of the series in gate to wire fashion and in the identical time of 1:59.1, she figures to make the early lead and set the pace in the final.

Trained by Frederick Ward, Jr. and owned by him and Sharon Proctor, Jennys Jammies looks to extend her winning streak to four and also notch her fourth victory in nine starts in 2009.

Fast Vacation, second to the favourite last time out, is the 7-2 morning line second choice in the full field. The three-year-old filly likes to race from off the pace, as do the rest of the contenders, so they may all try to gang up on Jennys Jammies provided they can compromise her early speed.

Also on Sunday, everyone coming to the races is eligible to win a $50 gas card from Klemm's Mobile on the Run in Windham, New Hampshire. Post time for the afternoon card is 1:05 p.m.
