Buffalo Changes Condition Sheets
It an attempt to make it easier for fans and horsepeople to understand the condition sheets, Buffalo Raceway will institute an Open I through IV classification for the trotters and pacers beginning on Wednesday, June 14. The draw for the program will be on Saturday, June 10.

"We won't have to add conditions anymore to fill races," Buffalo Raceway Race Secretary Tom Agosti said. "Sometimes it ends up like reading a book on all the conditions we had to add to fill races. For the next couple of weeks, we'll have what parameters your horse needs to have to enter the Opens. It will be easier for me to move a horse or two around. But after that, it will be like an Open, Open II on so on. It will be easier for the fans to understand as well."
Agosti added that horses winning two of their last four races in claiming and conditioned races will be required to move up in class.
