It’s been 14 days since Pocono Downs introduced its new Pick 7 wager and no one has correctly selected all seven of the race winners involved. The jackpot has grown

from $25,000 to $55,290.74 going into the Friday, July 24 card of racing.

In order to win the jackpot, one must select the winners of Races 6 through 12. Several patrons have come close since June 30, getting six of the seven winners. This past Wednesday night there was a consolation payoff of $471.20 for a $2 wager and it involved picking five of the seven winners in those designated races.

The jackpot continues to grow if there are no winning tickets but there are consolation payoffs every night.
