Emily Gaskin's 2017 Fantasy Stable
Who would harness racing's sharpest minds select in the 2017 Trot Magazine Fantasy Stable? Trot Insider will feature 'expert picks' in advance of Friday's entry deadline.
Racing publicist and commentator for Hoosier Park, Emily Gaskin has offered her picks for the 2017 Fantasy Stable. With many of the groups providing a handful of horses capable of breakout campaigns, Gaskin has gone with award winner Broadway Donna from a sharp selection of horses in Group C.
"Multiple Dan Patch award-winning mare -- year-end honours at both two and three -- puts her in an elite group of trotting mares all time," noted Gaskin. "I love the way she ended the season last year -- she's qualified back well and eligible to quite a bit this season for her connections who have had plenty of success with her kind!"
Broadway Donna kicked off her 2017 campaign with a solid runner-up effort against older horses at The Meadowlands of Friday night.
